FEATURED HOMES IN THE CANYON

A Traditional Christmas in a New Home

The Barrow's invite you to a traditional Christmas in their brand new two story home! The entire home, from the exterior to the interior, is decorated with an elegant black and white theme, White marble, black granite, soaring ceilings, and an elegant split stairway are just some of the highlights of this gorgeous, sophisticated home. The state-of-the-art kitchen flows into the family room with a cozy fireplace. Upstairs there is a game room, office and a spare bedroom. Throughout the home, traditionally decorated trees reflect a deep love for the Christmas season. Be sure to notice Mari's collection of plates honoring her two daughters as well as several nativity scenes that are Don's family heirlooms. A joyous Christmas to all!!

A Sentimental Christmas on the Lake

The Cunningham's welcome you to their elegant, lake side home filled with 42 years' worth of nostalgic Christmas memories. Keep your eyes open for collectable Santas placed throughout the house! The crystal trees, reindeer and ornaments were handed down from Alice's mother . The snow village under the tree was jointly collected by Alice and her mom and has become a special Christmas toy for three generations of their family. Make sure you admire the extensive nutcracker collection in the breakfast room! If you're looking for an adventure, a short climb up the oak spiral staircase will take you to a spacious movie room with a  balcony over looking the lake. On the main floor, step out onto the back patio to hear the waterfall and see the brilliant lights of the canyon glittering off the lake. Your heart will be warmed by Mike and Alice's sentimental love of the Christmas season and all it means to their family.

A True Country & Western Christmas

Welcome to a Country & Western Christmas in the Golightly's. Formally from Floydada, these new residents of the Canyon have decorated their home to match their personal style - elegant with a country flair that never strays far from their West Texas roots. High ceilings , a warm color scheme and the view of a peaceful waterfall and pond draws you into the home. Check out the Texas themed tree with a cowboy hat topper and cowhide tree skirt! The beautifully remodeled kitchen with granite countertops opens into the cozy den with a beckoning fire. Be sure to notice Penny's barrel racing boots on the mantle and  Dayne's custom chaps on the bed. Penny is an artist and has created several of the western pictures you see throughout the home. The Golightly's home showcases their love for all things country and western and, most importantly family! Merry Christmas Y'all!

 The Louisiana-Texas Line House

Brandt and Christie Underwood welcome you into their Spanish style home with elegant arches and classic stucco. This home was an early arrival home in Ransom Canyon, being built on Highland Drive in 1974. The Underwoods' home features true West Texas style rustic décor, family heirlooms, and majestic mounts harvested in  West Texas. Look for Louisiana styling accents and a Fleur De Lis theme, as Christie hails from the Bayou State. Be sure to view the elaborately decorated banister that is a focal point in their home. The Underwoods' are excited to open their home to share in the Christmas spirit as it is their favorite time of the year!

PLUS: The Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel will be open for the Tour.  We welcome you in for hot apple cider, homemade cookies and Christmas music by the Gospel Brass. Come see the completed Life of Christ Memorial Hillside and miracles of Jesus!

     * A shuttle service will be provided for those who choose to ride up to the Chapel rather than walk the garden pathway.

Our theme this year is: Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!!!
